Each RC car is sold with a leaflet that shows all the parts in exploded view so you can easily identify all the components. Simply locate the part to be replaced and note its reference.
In case you have lost or thrown away this sheet, good news: everything is online. Go to the manufacturer's website, find your model, then look for the Support or Manual button. Or just search for "[make] [model] parts list" and you should find what you need.
How to find the part in the store?
