The XV-02 RS chassis is a road-going variant of the popular XV-02 rally platform. It is primarily intended for track use and has been improved with a series of innovative updates .
The chassis features 3.5mm thick carbon fiber shock mounts , along with aluminum body oil shocks tuned for track performance. Additionally, the lower chassis is reinforced with carbon fiber to increase its rigidity, improving stability during high-speed racing.
This chassis adopts a new 4WD cardan transmission system with central engine positioning. It incorporates front and rear universal joints of the same length, providing optimal balance and better maneuverability.
The kit is delivered with two 39T differential ring gears and one 40T differential gear ring. This allows you to adjust traction between front and rear , giving you the option of favoring front or rear traction depending on your preference.
The flat bottom of the chassis and the angle of the front bumper are designed to limit contact with the track when driving. The spindles are tilted six degrees, improving driving dynamics and vehicle responsiveness.
