The GR Supra GT500 was developed in accordance with the GT500 class regulations to replace the LEXUS LC500 which shined for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. Taking up the aerodynamic design of the road-going GR Supra, this racing car is equipped with a carbon monocoque chassis, dedicated aerodynamic components and transmission, as well as a 2-liter in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with direct injection "RI4AG".. It is this car that Tamiya offers in scale model for RC enthusiasts with a sleek polycarbonate body that rests on an easy-to-build and easy-to-drive TT-02 chassis.
The 4-wheel drive chassis is arranged with the battery on the left and the engine on the right, to give excellent stability to the car. Additionally, it features identical left and right suspension arms for easy assembly , as well as an easy-to-maintain gearbox.
