No more connecting multiple wires, sensors, modules and links. With Avian drives, simple one-wire telemetry transmits a wide range of data directly to your transmitter in real time , including current, voltage, cell balance, temperature and RPM.
Avian drives are equipped with IC series battery connectors. IC Series connectors are designed from the ground up to provide a stronger connection , higher heat resistance and effortless installation. When used with a Spektrum Smart battery equipped with an IC5 connector, the electronic controller can receive and transmit telemetry data from the battery. EC5 connectors are also compatible with Avian ESCs.
When used with a Spektrum Smart Lipo battery (not included), your Avian drive gives you the benefit of battery telemetry which is automatically transmitted to your radio in real time . On the screen of your transmitter you will be presented with useful information such as the number of cycles, the battery percentage, the voltage of each cell and more!
Multiple programming options are available. Using the Smart Drive programming box (not supplied), you can easily modify parameters in the field to adapt them to flight conditions. An easy-to-use Smart Link USB update and programming application is also available.
The 32-bit M4 processor in Avian drives produces a higher resolution input signal and more precise motor output.
