There are a total of 6 modes ("Break-in" for NiMH/NiCd/Eneloop batteries only, "Storage" for Li-Chemistry batteries only).
- Charge: Charge the battery at the selected rate. Suitable for frequently used batteries.
- Discharge: Discharges the battery at the selected rate.
- Refresh Analyze: Suitable for batteries stored for more than two weeks but less than three months or batteries with poor performance. This mode can also determine the battery capacity.
- Break-In: A charge-discharge-charge cycle that forces a full charge at a very low rate for new batteries or those stored for more than 3 months.
- Cycle: Cycles charge-discharge up to 99 times. Cycle mode can remove the memory effect of rechargeable batteries.
- Storage: Charges/discharges a lithium battery to a voltage that theoretically preserves battery life during long-term storage.
