The Truggy Mugen MBX-8TR Eco Kit E2030 is a 1/8 scale 4x4 electric radio controlled car , designed to deliver peak performance, increased stability and improved rear traction. Tested and developed by the best drivers in the world , this car benefits from numerous innovations and improvements to help you achieve major victories in competition .
The MBX8TR Eco is equipped with new “C” and “D” wishbone supports using square pads to increase the possibilities of toe and anti-swing adjustments. The front and rear suspension arms are made from impact-resistant material for increased durability . Stiffer LW arms will be available as an option for the MBX8TR Eco.
The rear hub carriers are also new for the MBX8TR Eco. They are made of molded material and equipped with CFRP plates to adjust the rear roll center. The kit also includes a new front shock tower and front upper arm bracket , which use new pivots for improved adjustability .
The chassis of the MBX8TR Eco features a slight design change. It has a new battery holder for short and standard 4S batteries . You can install short or standard size batteries with the new two-piece battery tray. The kit comes with a short 4S battery strap (380mm) and a standard 4S battery strap (455mm).
The MBX8TR Eco is equipped with High Traction Differentials (HTD) which provide better acceleration, longer range and better handling . HTDs also increase stability, traction and improve handling on bumpy terrain . The MBX8TR Eco comes with new planetary gears to improve internal meshing and differential action. Kit includes 10T, 46T bevel gears and 46T cast pinion.
- The front and rear shock mounts are new with new inserts to find the optimum setting.
- Aluminum triangle support wedges C and D at the rear are narrower so that the triangles work better
- New rear flares complete the new design of the rear axle since they are now adjustable
- The chassis is still 3mm thick in hard-treated and milled aluminum. This has been slightly modified
- The “HT” High Traction Differentials are included as standard in the kit
- The steering is on ball joints which is a specificity inspired by asphalt track cars.
- Front and rear cells provide very quick access to differentials for maintenance and setting changes
- The new MBX8-TR wing has new downforce with new fins
- Revised rear wing support will provide additional downforce and increase durability
- The shock absorbers are now factory fitted with emulsion caps (E2572)
- Stabilizer bar clamps to reduce lateral movement of the anti-roll bar
