The EMO JT4 features a front engine, two speeds and a differential lock. A low-speed crossing vehicle is a step-by-step amplification of torque through multi-stage gears, so that the control can be more linear and easier to climb obstacles . Very important, crossrc uses a large number of metal teeth made of high carbon steel raw materials to match the built-in cutting gears. The first stage deceleration adopts nylon material, large injection molded teeth, and added a limited slip mechanism. The vehicle's transmission is both rigid and smooth, and rolling noise is also well controlled.
The JT4 chassis uses a more simulated Panhard-style multi-link connection with the axle body, and the steering servo is installed at the harness to further simulate the real position. In order to improve crossing performance and reliability, the JT4 uses an integrated stainless steel tie rod, which is directly connected to the ball stud, eliminating the need for washers and screws to install, and at the same time lowers the center of gravity of the chassis.
