Improve the performance of your Axial SCX10 III Base Camp by adding an easy-to-install digging function. This update turns your standard LCXU transmission into a powerful tool for rock crawling.
With this modification, the rear portion of the transmission locks, allowing the front tires to tow the vehicle. The rear tires then serve as a pivot, facilitating maneuvers and tight turns. This technique also improves control on difficult climbs and descents.
Installation is easy and affordable, and it greatly increases the capabilities of your vehicle. The kit includes a metal plate for the servo, providing a solid base, as well as two adapters for different types of micro servos, like the Spektrum or other popular models. A locking device for the servo is also provided.
For those competing in competitions where digging is not permitted, a lockout option is included, allowing this feature to be easily disabled.
To use this digging function, a micro servo and a radio with at least three channels are required.
The Spektrum SX108 servo is recommended for optimal performance.
